*When I read this, I instantly thought : in the midst of the craziness, the busy days, the chaos that is being a mother, student, wife - in the midst of all of that, He hears your prayers!

*Once the seed of faith is planted, takes root and begins to grow, you must continue to feed your faith. If not fed, it will wither.

Alma 31:38 And the Lord provided for them that they should hunger not, neither should they thirst; yea, and he also gave them strength, that they should suffer no manner of afflictions, save it were swallowed up in the joy of Christ. *Have faith in your prayers, He hears us. He gives us strength thru the Holy Ghost. Find joy in choosing the right.

Alma 30 : Korihor leads away the hearts of the people. Korihor thought he was commanded by an angel to declare the word of God. I think Satan knew how powerful Korihor would have been if he became a believer. He turned Korihor's loyalty and faith against him, and he became an agent of evil. Satan knows our weaknesses. He will find that chink in our armor, and he'll pick at it until it all breaks. He will use our strengths against us. Stand strong.

*I think of my family, and all they have done, how far they have come, how wonderful, strong, amazing, brave they are. YOU are so amazing!

Lately both boys have intentionally pushed my buttons. They know they can, and they know exactly how. I've been getting frustrated. When I'm hollering, I now yell I LOVE YOU, and I'm reminded that I do indeed love them. I've also been whispering & hugging more. It hard to hug a kid who's spitting, but when they act out is when hugs are needed most. Same as a hug from Father. When we don't feel like it, is when we need it most. Reach for Him. He's there.

*I need to work on having His light in my soul at all times. I've been trying to welcome His Spirit into my heart more, but it's hard. It's hard to constantly welcome the Spirit. Life is hard.

*We're trying to pray more as a family, so that we have His Spirit with us. In doing so, we have felt more kindness & more patience & more love. When I get frustrated, I try to pray, my anger melts and I can speak kind words to my tornado boys.

*I think, if we each mediate on His words & seek to prepare for church on Sunday, that the Lord will pour His Spirit upon us, & soften our hearts for the lessons & whisperings of the Spirit.

*I thought of 2 Ne 2:25: Men are that they might have joy. Temporal, spiritual; mortal, immortal. JOY now and JOY later!
