1. I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me,
Confused at the grace that so fully he proffers me.
I tremble to know that for me he was crucified,
That for me, a sinner, he suffered, he bled and died.
2. I marvel that he would descend from his throne divine To rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine,
That he should extend his great love unto such as I,
Sufficient to own, to redeem, and to justify.
[Chorus] Oh, it is wonderful that he should care for me Enough to die for me! Oh, it is wonderful, wonderful to me!
*I absolutely love this song. It was on the program for Ward Conference today. It's been stuck in my head all day. It has been an amazing day.
I've been reading my scriptures and an inspirational book each night and sending out a thought about it to my family and friends. I decided to post them all to a blog so I don't lose them.

We took a road trip this weekend, and during the ride the little one randomly said a prayer where he just starting listing off family members. And then my big one started singing "I am a Child of God" and the little one tried to sing along too. To hear those sweet little voices sing, this song especially, makes my heart melt, and reminds me of the power of His Atonement. Because of the Atonement, I am able to live with my eternal family, I am able to live with Him again.

With these crazy 40 MPH winds tonight, my brain keeps singing "The wise man built his house upon the rock" but instead of rain, it's wind. We all face strong winds of adversity. We just need to widen our stance and dig in. With the right foundation, His, we will find ourselves stronger than the wind.

The boys and I have started to sing "I am a Child of God" when we wake up and when we go to bed and when we're sad. I want my boys to know that they were created special, and I was picked to be their mom. I want them to know they are Children of God, and He doesn't make mistakes.
I am a Child of God, and He has sent me here.
Has given me an earthly home with parents kind and dear.
Lead me guide me walk beside me, help me find the way.
Teach me all that I must do to live with Him someday.

More holiness give me, More strivings within, More patience in suffering, More sorrow for sin, More faith in my Savior, More sense of his care, More joy in his service, More purpose in prayer.
More purity give me, More strength to overcome, More freedom from earth stains, More longing for home, More fit for the kingdom, More used would I be, More blessed and holy More, Savior, like thee
*I absolutely love this song. We sang it at Women's Session and again today.

Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, to shine for Him each day.
*On Paul Cardall's 40 Hymns CD, this song is played. It hits me in the feels. Each of us is His sunbeam. The sun warms us, helps us work, and makes us feel alive, peaceful & happy. We need to be a sunbeam, touch the lives of others and our family.
