3 Nephi 22: 13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. Being a parent is a calling from God the requires the very best of our heart, might, mind, and strength. The Savior loves the precious spirit He entrusts to our care. We need look no further than the scriptures for proof that this is true. As parents, we share a sacred partnership with the Lord, a partnership in which we covenant to do all in our power to teach and guide our children in His ways. All the Lord expects of us as parents is our very best, and because we love Him, that is what we will give, even though it may be far from perfect.
