1 Ne. 3 - In our reading tonight I felt an intense impression of how we are like Nephi and the reason God commanded them to get the plates.
We read them as a family to teach our children His words, and to learn of our history, and our genealogy. Nephi was sent to get them to preserve the history and the language and the genealogy.
We teach our children these things so they will learn and grow in righteousness.
(I can't really put my thoughts into words, it sounded way better in my head than in words. Shark just nodded when I told him, he didn't get it either.)
